AI Engineers, Inc. (AIE) welcomes Thomas McAndrews, PE as Senior Director of Structures & Bridge Evaluation at AIE’s New York City Office.

Mr. McAndrews has extensive experience in bridge engineering, having spent the last 30 years working for NYSDOT Region 11 managing bridge inspection projects throughout New York City. Most recently, he led a team of engineers responsible for managing twelve inspection and load rating projects covering all vehicular bridges and overhead sign structures in New York City. In addition, he managed emergency response for planned and unplanned events and represented the State at Emergency Operation Centers.

Mr. McAndrews brings his expertise to AIE’s bridge engineering professionals in New York to provide leadership and assist with project management, quality assurance, and business development.

Mr. McAndrews has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from City College of New York and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of New York and Connecticut.
