As an MBE firm ourselves, we are abundantly cognizant of the challenges that minorities and underserved peoples face, particularly in the professional landscape, and we promote the importance of providing a seat at the table for everyone. We foster an agile management structure that allows all employees the resources and opportunities to grow and thrive. This agility-centric structure yields unique adaptivity, which results in strong yet flexible operations as well as a stable yet innovative environment for our employees. Above all else, AIE practices equity and empowers every staff member within our walls. Compassion, attentiveness, and advocacy matter, so we make sure our employees, surrounding communities, and the environment benefit from the company’s success.

For the last 12 years, starting with our President, we have had a seat on the Advisory Board of the STEM program at Hartford High School, an inner-city school that is home to a very diverse and underserved group of students. The purpose of the board is to provide internship opportunities and exposure to an office environment so that the students can gain confidence and interest in the AEC industry. Members of our company have participated in soft skill training, as well as mentoring for the students.
