Safety Always

June 1st, 2022

Safety is paramount to our work at AI Engineers. This includes the safety of our employees, the public, and the infrastructure we work with—we aim to protect!

Much of our inspection work requires unique access considerations, whether it be working from heights in a lift truck, operating an under bridge inspection vehicle, working within confined spaces, repelling from a rope, or working with a traffic controlled work zone to name a few. In order to maintain the highest degree of safety possible, we tirelessly plan, train, and prepare our staff.

Our crews perform daily Toolbox Meetings when on site to highlight safety considerations for the work to be done. By performing daily Toolbox Meetings, we take an effective measure towards safety by preparing our crews for all necessary safety measures before we go to work. This includes communicating the location or limits of the work zone/traffic control and access requirements, equipment necessary, relevant equipment use information, proper personal protective equipment (PPE), weather, environmental hazards, and an open discussion of any other considerations the site or crew may have.

The best way to create and maintain a safe, accident-free work environment is through meticulous planning: identifying hazards well in advance, creating a safety plan, and getting every team member involved!
