AIE is providing design services for an On-Call Engineering Services contract. There have been numerous tasks issued to AIE under this on-call contract. We have provided a wide range of services to successfully meet the project goals and desires of the Town, successfully managing multiple disciplines. Our top priority is ensuring complete fulfillment of project milestones and objectives within the desired timeline and budget. We support the Town, on an as-needed basis, with all necessary consulting engineering services as they relate to planning, designing, and renovating public facilities/assets. Some tasks under this contract are as follows:

• Town Hall Annex Council Chamber Air System Study: This project consisted of evaluating the air system serving the Council Chambers in the Town Hall Annex.
• Town Hall Annex Radon Mitigation: This project involved the design of a radon mitigation system for the basement level of the Town Hall Annex. 
• Town Hall Annex Council Chamber HVAC Replacement: AIE evaluated the existing single zone air handler split system serving the Council Chambers in the Town Hall Annex located at 134 Groton Long Point Road, Groton, CT. 
• Goss Cove Pump Station Oil Tank Replacement: This assignment involved design services for the removal of one (1) active 1,000-gallon underground fuel storage tank (diesel) from the Goss Cove Pumping Station site at 750 Military Highway in Groton, CT.
• Goss Cove Pump Station Pump Replacement: The Goss Cove Pump Station pumps flows approximately 4,500 ft. east and south to a gravity sewer system on Route 12 via an 18-in. diameter force main. Sewer systems flows to the pump station are from two (2) areas.
• Replacement of Kitchen Exhaust Fan at the Par Four Restaurant at the Shennecosset Golf Course: This project involved design for the replacement of the existing kitchen hood exhaust fan at the Par Four Restaurant at the Shennecosset Golf Course located at 93 Plant Street, Groton, CT.
