Kazem Farhoumand is a Vice President of AI Engineers. Mr. Farhoumand is the leader of our Rhode Island office and works closely with our many other offices and our executive team, helping us to expand our business development efforts in the region. He also has an active hand in Project Management and Project QA/QC.

Prior to joining AIE, Mr. Farhoumand worked for nearly 30 years at the Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT). During his time with RIDOT, Kazem contributed to their highway, bridge, and traffic engineering sections over the years. Ultimately, he served as Chief Engineer for close to a decade, overseeing the planning, design, construction, and materials testing activities for all RIDOT projects as well as chairing the RIDOT Specifications and Claims Committees.
