Green Manor South Subdivision
AI designed road replacements for the Green Manor South subdivision. The project included full-depth reconstruction of approximately 2,100 lf and Full-Depth Reclamation with Cement (FDR-C) of approximately 4,200 lf of roadway. The design also included geometric realignments to provide for new snow shelves/greenbelts, and new sidewalks. AI also provided design services for the replacement of the roadway's closed catch basin system, which included the best management practices of deep sumps and pipe outlet hoods.
The roads were reconstructed due to their low Pavement Condition Index (PCI) ratings, and to correct problematic geometric and drainage deficiencies. Columbia Road, Troy Lane and Flag Court were constructed in the late 1950's while Northfield Road was constructed in the mid 1970's. All of the streets provided access to single family residential homes.
