Our Boston office is currently looking for experienced Team Leaders to perform NBIS Bridge, Tunnel and Ancillary Structure inspection and load ratings.  

Candidates should possess excellent technical, verbal and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage manpower and financial resources, strong leadership and communication skills. Bridge design/rehabilitation and bridge load rating experience with MassDOT will be a plus. 

Duties will include:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing NBIS field inspections, including preparing, scheduling, assigning staff members, writing inspection reports, assuring QA/QC, project coordination, bridge load ratings and design in accordance with AASHTO and MassDOT guidelines and standards. Position will require the ability to work in the field year round, with occasional night and weekend work, the use of ladders, high-reach access equipment, confined space procedures, the ability to assist with temporary traffic control and other related duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BSCE degree 
  • Minimum of five years of experience in bridge inspection
  • Candidate must possess an NHI two (2) week Bridge Inspector's Training Certificate

Special Requirements:
A PE License or the ability to obtain a MA PE license within 6 months of employment is required. Tunnel and highway sign structure inspection experience is a plus

We are currently looking for an Assistant Resident Engineer to work on a $100M construction infrastructure project in New York City. The project deals with Water Distribution Networks and sewer mains. This job will be active for a minimum of four years. 

Duties will include:
  • Assist day-to-day construction oversight/Assistant Resident Engineering efforts on Construction Projects
  • Monitor Contractor performance, schedule, overall responsiveness and effectiveness
  • Manage CM inspection staff and the delivery of daily inspection reports in accordance with clients’ requirements
  • Provide technical review of construction plans and specifications and project changes for constructability and practicality
  • Assist with management of office staff responsible for record keeping, general correspondence, compiling and drafting of required reports and deliverables

The New York City office is looking for a HVAC/Electrical Inspector - Building Construction to provide inspection and conduct tests to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications. Other duties may include any of the following:
