Duties will include:
•  Responsible for project recordkeeping functions
•  Generate and process payment estimates, compile change orders, coordinate material testing, update spreasheets and various logs, and process contractural correspondence
•  Reports directly to the Resident Engineer or Chief Inspector and supervise clerical staff

Requirements:
•  Qualified for ASCE Grade III, or NICET Grade IV

Duties will include:
•  Supervise inspection personnel
•  Perform daily field inspections
•  Inspect construction progress which includes ensuring procedures and materials comply with specifications; observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmansip
•  Review contract plans and specifications for compliance with appropriate building codes and project requirements
•  Reviews and responds to shop drawing submittals, responds to requests for information, clarifications, proposals, and change orders

Requirements:

Currently looking for Team Leaders for performing NBIS Bridge and Ancillary Structure inspection and load ratings in our NYC and/or Albany office. The candidate must possess a BSCE degree with a minimum experience of 5 years in bridge inspection.and a NYS PE license. Candidates should possess excellent technical, meticulous verbal and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage manpower and financial resources, strong leadership and communication skills. Bridge Design/Rehabilitation, Bridge Load Rating and experience with NYSDOT will be a plus. Completion of a NHI two (2) week Bridge Inspector's Training Certificate is required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing NBIS field inspections, including preparing scheduling, assigning staff members, writing inspection reports, assuring QA/QC, project coordination, bridge load ratings and design in accordance with AASHTO and NYSDOT guidelines and standards. Position will require the ability to work in the field year round, with occasional night and weekend work, the use of ladders and the ability to assist traffic control work at heights and in confined spaces and other related duties.
